ILMovie: Archival Image as a Resource for Intercultural Learning
AFMM is a partner in ILMovie, an international project that brings together film, audiovisual memory, and education. The project draws on archival film and video formats, such as 8mm, Super 8, and VHS, to develop educational content on themes including tolerance, human rights, democracy, the environment, and cultural diversity.
Within this framework, AFMM contributes to the creation of educational films based on archival materials from the Balkans, transforming these images into a space for reflection, knowledge, and intercultural dialogue.
ILMovie approaches audiovisual heritage not simply as evidence of the past, but as an active resource for understanding history, culture, and others.
This project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme.
