Synopsis: Helga Pato (Pilar Castro), an editor who has just left her boyfriend Emilio (Quim Gutiérrez) in a psychiatric hospital, meets Ángel Sanagustín (Ernesto Alterio), a psychiatrist from the same center, on the train home. During the journey, Sanagustín tells Helga the stories of several of his patients, highlighting the story of former military man Martín Urales (Luis Tosar), who is obsessed with garbage. In addition, during the trip, Helga recalls her own history with her boyfriend Emilio, who suffers from schizophrenia, which led them to have an abusive relationship in which she was humiliated and degraded. Throughout the movie, various stories and lives intertwine, leading to unexpected twists and revelations.
